"Assessment of Challenges and Institutional Response to Gender-Based Violence in Primary Health Care Services in Albania"

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of how the primary health care system responds to cases of gender-based violence, identifying structural, legal, and cultural barriers, and offering practical recommendations to improve services and strengthen inter-institutional cooperation.

This study has been carried out under the framework of the project “Advancing Gender Equality through Oversight and Reporting in Albania” (AGORA), with the support of the European Union. The initiative is led by the Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC), in partnership with Together for Life (TFL) and the Institute of Romani Culture in Albania (IRCA).
