This project aims to support a just and fair shift in Albania’s garment industry by focusing on the rights and needs of women workers. Implemented by GADC as part of the wider “Fashioning a Just Transition” initiative, the project promotes better working conditions, gender equality, and environmental sustainability.

Key activities include:

Workshops to raise awareness on labor rights, gender equality, and the environmental impact of the fashion industry
An advocacy campaign highlighting the voices and challenges of women workers
A worker-led forum to support dialogue, collective action, and movement building
A policy brief with concrete recommendations for a Just Transition that centers on workers’ rights and sustainability

The project is part of the EU co-funded initiative “Fashioning a Just Transition” (2024–2027), working to build a more inclusive and resilient fashion industry in Albania.
