Goal of the project: The POP Network actively monitors the decision-making processes and plays an influential role in advocating for the interests of rights holders and shaping the policy debate and political agenda.
SO1. POP has strengthened its competencies and legitimacy to monitor and influence decision-making processes and policy agendas, while also developing exit scenarios from the OPC for the medium- and long-term development of the POP network.
SO2. The voice and agency of citizens are amplified and they are organized in groups to become vocal for their rights and influence the local policy agendas.
SO3. Duty bearers actively engage civil society groups and organizations in decision-making and budgeting processes, while also strengthening platforms of communication and cooperation with these groups.
SO4. In the framework of local elections 2023, Social Contracts are signed within a public forum and the duty bearers maintain an ongoing dialogue with citizens regarding the implementation of commitments made.
The Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC) in Tirana is leading the development of the project.
