Collection of signatures for the proposal of the draft law "On the establishment of the national register of perpetrators of sexual crimes"

INFORMATION ON THE LEGISLATIVE INITIATIVE

The representative committee of the legal initiative requests the realization of the legal initiative through which the draft law "On the Establishment of the National Register of Sex Crimes Authors" will be proposed to the Assembly of the Republic of Albania. The initiative representative committee will deal with the whole process of the legislative initiative of the voters.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY EXPLANATION OF THE LEGISLATIVE INITIATIVE

The purpose of the legal initiative is to reduce sexual abuse as well as prevent abusers from becoming recidivists. The draft law that will be proposed to the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, is related to the protection of victims from sexual abuse.The draft law to be proposed to the Albanian Parliament, "On the Establishment of the National Register of Sexual Offenses", guarantees the protection of victims of sexual abuse through the creation of a national register of perpetrators of sexual crimes, a register which will be public and accessible for everyone.
