Workshop in Dibra on Preventing Violent Extremism

On 12 November 2024, the Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC) organized a one-day workshop in Dibra, as part of the project “Crafting The Future: Empowering Young Women To Counter Violent Extremism And Radicalization” which is implemented with financial support from the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Tirana. The workshop brought together community leaders from 15 administrative units to deepen their understanding of violent extremism. The goal of the workshop was to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify local causes of extremism, to implement effective prevention strategies and to foster cooperation among public institutions, local governments and civil society.
