Training for Women in Business in Administrative Unit no. 10, Tirana

On 29.12.2023, the Gender Alliance for Development Center organized an activity in the wake of implementing the project: "Women's Economic Empowerment through Gender-Sensitive Value Chain Interventions". The aim of this project has been to address gender equality challenges and empower the role of women entrepreneurs, adapting to the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change. The project is supported by the Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund of the Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Tirana.

The achieved aim of the project was to improve women’s access to the business market and help them overcome barriers and insecurities in the development of their businesses. In this context, on 29.12.2023, a training session was organized with the participation of women entrepreneurs and staff members of administrative unit no. 10. The training focused on various topics, including access to finance, budgeting, banking and insurance products, and the value chain. This session provided knowledge and strategies that will help women make informed decisions in order to advance their businesses in different conditions.
