Training with Women in Business in Krraba

5.10.2023

The Gender Alliance for Development Center, in the framework of the project "Women's Economic Empowerment through Gender-Sensitive Value Chain Interventions", which is supported by the Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund of the Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Tirana, has been organizing a series of trainings for women entrepreneurs in different administrative units of Tirana, with the goal of improving women's access to the business market, empowering them and lowering the level of insecurity they experience in developing their businesses.

Through this project, we aim to address issues of gender equality and women's economic empowerment in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change.

The latest training was held on October 5 in Krraba, with women entrepreneurs of that area. During the training, the women received information on access to finance, budgeting, banking products, the value chain, and insurance products. Our goal is that, with the help of this knowledge and guidance, women entrepreneurs may be able to make informed decisions and overcome obstacles to business development.
