“Talent in Business” Training for Women Entrepreneurs in Tirana

The Gender Alliance for Development Center organized the two-day training “Talent in Business for women entrepreneurs” in Tirana on September 14 – 15, 2023.

The training was led by experts of the Dutch "Brilliant Entrepreneurs" organization, with their many years of experience in support of women entrepreneurs. This training was organized in the framework of the project “Women’s Economic Empowerment through Gender-Sensitive Value Chain Interventions", which aims to address issues of gender equality and economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change.

The project is supported by Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund of the Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Tirana.

21 women entrepreneurs from Tirana, who run their own businesses in various fields, participated in this training. At the end of the second day of training, the activity was honored with the presence of U.S. Embassy representatives; Deputy Mayor of Tirana, Mrs. Keti Luarasi; and Mrs. Desarta Rapushaj, Director of SME and Projects, Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA).
