The Empowerment of Women Entrepreneurs: A focus on marketing techniques and strategies and the business value chain in Tirana

On March 17, 2023, the Gender Alliance for Development Center organized the next training session as part of the project "Women's Economic Empowerment through Gender Sensitive Value Chain Interventions". The training took place at Hotel Sokrat and focused on marketing techniques and strategies for women entrepreneurs in various fields operating in the territory of the Municipality of Tirana.

The training session provided an opportunity for participants to learn about the components of marketing, including the 4 Ps of marketing, SWOT analysis and creating a business plan. Also, a presentation was made on the project and the concept of the business value chain from a gender perspective.

Similar training sessions will be held in the future with other groups of women entrepreneurs in Tirana, as part of ongoing efforts to empower women and promote gender equality in the business value chain in the region. Through these training sessions, women entrepreneurs will gain the skills and knowledge needed to effectively market their businesses and compete in the local market.
