Presentation of the Project: “Strengthening transparency and accountability for gender equality through further increasing the capacity of the Gender Budget Watchdog Network (GBWN)”

On February 6th, 2023, in Tirana, the Gender Alliance for development center (GADC) organized the kick-off meeting to present and promote the second phase of the project “Strengthening Transparency and Accountability for Gender Equality in Western Balkans and Moldova”. This meeting was dedicated to national stakeholders to present the project and discuss key issues on gender-responsive budgeting and climate change, and its potential links to the State budget.

The project will be implemented for a period of 4 years (2022-2026) in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Moldova. The goal is to improve public commitment to gender-responsive climate action and increase public funding to implement gender-responsive climate action. The project is supported by the Austrian Development Agency and Sida - Styrelsen för Internationellt Utvecklingssamarbete.
