POP – Focus Group with citizens of Administrative Unit no. 5, Tirana

We have started the focus groups with the community for the second year Monitoring Report on the fulfillment of the Social Contract POP – Juxtaposing Political Offers. We will be in 10 administrative units during the following week for open discussions with the community regarding the priorities and their fulfillment by Tirana Municipality.

Today we were with residents of administrative unit no. 5 with whom we decided to meet in an open space. We talked about the work done by the municipality of Tirana and this administrative unit in fulfilling the residents’ priorities. We continue to have problems with drinking water, whereas nurseries and kindergartens have been reconstructed this year. Internal roads have been paved, but there are also neighborhoods that have not yet been fixed. Cleaning is done regularly in some neighborhoods, while in other residential blocks it appears problematic.

These and other details of this administrative unit will be summarized in the Second Monitoring Report that will be prepared by Gender Alliance for Development Center on the fulfillment of the Social Contract.
