National Conference – Promoting Integrity at the local level – POP 2021

On 6.12.2021, the Gender Alliance for Development Center, in partnership with the members of the Juxtaposing Political Offers – POP Network, and with the support of the Swedish Embassy in Tirana and the Olof Palme International Center, organized the National Conference titled "Promoting Integrity at the Local Level in Albania"

This activity took place in Vlora and 120 people attended online from 12 municipalities of the country. This meeting was attended by representatives of important institutions of the country, the region councils as well as representatives from the 12 municipalities where the POP network operates within the framework of the Social Contract: Tirana, Durrës, Pukë, Kukës, Vlorë, Fier, Pogradec, Kamëz, Shkodër, Elbasan, Vau i Dejës and Korçë.

The purpose of this conference was to discuss with representatives of the local government, civil society and the media on the importance of integrity in leadership to increase public trust.

During the conference, good cooperation experiences and methodologies of the POP network and local government representatives were shared with the participants and the public.
