Roundtable Discussion – Berat “The Functioning of the Coordinated Referral Mechanism during 2020!”

30.3.2021 Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC) organized today an online roundtable with the members of the Technical Interdisciplinary Team of the Coordinated Referral Mechanism in Berat Municipality. 

“The functioning of the Coordinated Referral Mechanism (CRM) during 2020! Findings and challenges in implementing the 3rd objective of the National Strategy for Gender Equality and Action Plan 2016-2020”

While the new National Strategy is being finalized, we discussed the findings of GADC's one-year monitoring (2020) of the functioning of the CRM in this municipality, we analyzed the challenges faced by members in particular and the mechanism in general, also putting together valuable recommendations for the continuity of the work.

This meeting was held in the framework of the project "Providing technical expertise for the government and CSOs for the development, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of measures to address violence against women in the new Strategy for Gender Equality and Action Plan" and is implemented within the program "Implementing Norms, Changing Minds" - combating violence against women in the Western Balkans and Turkey.

This project is funded by the European Union in Albania and implemented by UN Women Albania.
