Pukë_Environmental advocacy and the role of women as key actors for change

During the end of September and the first days of October, we held several meetings with groups of girls, women and young people, establishing the Environmental Feminist Local Alliance in Pukë. Together we will advocate at the meeting with representatives of the Puke municipality on environmental issues that are directly related to the daily lives of women, girls and young people.

We advocate together for environmental issues and show how strong women and girls are and how important their engagement is for such issues.

This meeting was held in the framework the Project "Establish Environmental Feminist Local Alliances", implemented by the "Gender Alliance for Development" Center. The project is supported by Reactor Research in Action/ Реактор истражување во акција and their partners through the Action "Furthering Gender Equality through the EU Accession Process". This Action is funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency Sida - Styrelsen för Internationellt Utvecklingssamarbete
