Focus Group with citizens of Administrative Unit no. 1 Tirana_Social Contract

16.9.2022 Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC) started today a series of meetings with the community in preparation for the third monitoring report of the POP Social Contract for the municipality of Tirana.

Today we were with some of the residents of Unit No. 1, Tirana, with whom we met at the Shkoze Community Center and together we discussed the services that different target groups receive from this center, but above all the priorities of the Social Contract. This year too, the residents emphasize the need to add a kindergarten and nursery in this unit, as there is an increased number of children.

They request the intervention of Tirana Municipality for more employment opportunities, as they are families with social problems which are currently supported by economic aid or part-time work.

All the findings from these meetings will be reflected in the third monitoring report, where we will analyze the work of the municipality of Tirana towards the fulfillment of the Social Contract.
