GADC Participates in the Civil Society Week National Event

Colleagues of Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC) participated today in the Event organized by Partners Albania for Change and Development in the framework of the Civil Society Week.

We had the opportunity to be involved in discussions on the role that CSOs have in skills development, employment and community empowerment, as well as on improving cooperation and coordination among stakeholders – Policies, strategies and recognition of qualifications.

In the workshop on Participatory Democracy, together with colleagues of POP - Perballja e Ofertave Politike (Juxtaposing Political Offers) from the New Epoch Center in Fier and from Easy Steps, we discussed about citizen engagement and local transparency, bringing the Social Contract model which POP has been following for several years in 12 municipalities of the country.
