GADC at the “Empowered Women – Empower Women” Regional Conference

The Gender Alliance for Development Center had the pleasure of participating in the regional conference “Empowered Women – Empower Women”, organized by Democracy for Development (D4D) in Pristina, where the need for raising awareness about the importance of women’s contribution in our societies and of increasing women’s access to the labor market was emphasized.

This conference served to launch the regional research “Empowered Women – Empower Women”, which was conducted in 5 Western Balkan countries: Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Albania. GADC presented the main findings of this research for Albania, focusing on the level of support that women offer each-other in the labor market.

This activity was held in the framework of the project “Untapping Development: Increasing Women’s Access to Employment”, implemented by Democracy for Development and funded by the Embassy of Norway in Kosovo.
