GADC at the Social Tirana Festival

Social Tirana Festival: For two days during May 13-14, 2024, our colleagues participated in the Social Tirana Festival, organized by the Municipality of Tirana.

We had the opportunity to talk to different groups of citizens and civil society organizations, as well as with public institutions, about GADC initiatives.

The POP (Perballja e Ofertave Politike – Juxtaposing Political Offers) Social Contract was exhibited, a document created in cooperation with citizens in the framework of the 2023 local elections and signed by the Mayor, Mr. Erion Veliaj, ensuring that the voice of citizens is heard and reflected in policies and programs to address citizens’ priorities.

We also showcased our project about women’s rights in the workplace and informed citizens on the toll-free number 0800 18 18, which is available for women working in the garment and footwear manufacturing sector, to report rights violations in the workplace.
