Training for Women in Business in Administrative Unit District 14, Tirana

On 26.12.2023, the Gender Alliance for Development Center implemented the project: "Women's Economic Empowerment through Gender-Sensitive Value Chain Interventions," by addressing the challenges of gender equality and economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change. This project was supported by the Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund of the Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Tirana.

The main purpose of the project is to improve access and empower women entrepreneurs in the business market, by creating positive change and reducing the insecurities that they may experience. On 26.12.2023, we organized a training at the administrative unit of District 14, with the participation of women in business and staff members of the administrative unit. The training was focused on knowledge about access to finance, budgeting, banking products, the value chain, and insurance products. This session provided information and guidance to help women make informed decisions and overcome obstacles in the development of their businesses.
