Meeting in Librazhd: A Contribution in Countering Violent Extremism

On 24 December 2023, the Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC) organized a meeting with the youth of Librazhd. This training was supported by the project "Leaving the past behind: Building Resilience to violent extremism through support and education," led by the Counseling Line for Women and Girls (CLWG) and funded by the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF).

This activity is bringing a positive contribution in countering violent extremism by providing a positive alternative for young people, helping them develop the necessary skills for the labor market and orienting them towards a successful professional path. In addition, other programs such as the "Youth Guarantee for Development" offer additional opportunities for exploration and their development in the field of entrepreneurship. This intervention helps in improving the social and economic situation in the region.

This latest training covered topics such as: identifying the problem, developing a solution, and revising the solution, providing a detailed and practical approach. The participants acquired skills in identifying problems, developing innovative solutions, skills improvement analysis, as well as business planning and designing sustainable plans for the market.
