Training for Women Entrepreneurs in Ndroq

11.10.2023 The Gender Alliance for Development Center is implementing the project: "Women's Economic Empowerment through Gender-Sensitive Value Chain Interventions", through which it aims to address issues of gender equality and economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change. The project is supported by the Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund of the Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Tirana.

This project aims to improve women entrepreneurs’ access to the business market and empower them, by reducing the insecurities they experience in developing their businesses.

On 11.10.2023, the latest training was held in Ndroq, with women in business, residing in this administrative unit.

The training was focused on providing information on access to finance, budgeting, banking products, the value chain, and insurance products.  The training participants received valuable information and guidance that will help them make informed decisions in the process of developing their businesses. They also received advice regarding the ways that they can overcome obstacles, build their networks and take advantage of opportunities for collaboration. This training is an important step towards the economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs in Ndroq.
