Training with Women Entrepreneurs in Dajt

10.10.2023

In the framework of the project "Women's Economic Empowerment through Gender-Sensitive Value Chain Interventions", supported by the Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund of the Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Tirana, GADC is conducting a series of trainings for women entrepreneurs in different administrative units of the Tirana Municipality, with the aim of improving women's access to the business market, empowering them and reducing the insecurities they experience in developing their businesses.

The project aims to address issues of gender equality and women's economic empowerment in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change.

The latest training was held on October 10, in Dajt, with the participation of women entrepreneurs of this area, who run their own businesses. During the training, the women received information on access to finance, budgeting, banking products, the value chain, and insurance products. Our aim is that, with the help of this knowledge and guidance, the women entrepreneurs can make informed decisions and overcome obstacles to the growth of their businesses.
