Training with women entrepreneurs in Bërzhitë

In the framework of the project "Women’s Economic Empowerment through Gender-Sensitive Value Chain Interventions", which aims to address issues of gender equality and economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change, the Gender Alliance for Development Center is organizing a series of trainings for women entrepreneurs in different administrative units of Tirana, with the goal of improving women's access to the business market, empowering them and reducing the insecurities they face in developing their businesses.

The latest training was held on 19.09.2023 in Bërzhitë, where women entrepreneurs received knowledge on access to finance, budgeting, banking products, the value chain and insurance products. The training also provided information and guidance to help women make informed decisions and overcome obstacles in business development.

The project is supported by the Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund of the Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Tirana.
