Training with Women Entrepreneurs in Petrela

20.07.2023 Gender Alliance for Development Center is implementing the project "Women’s Economic Empowerment through Gender-Sensitive Value Chain Interventions", through which it aims to address issues of gender equality and the economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change. The project is supported by Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund of the Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Tirana.

An important part of this project are the trainings that are being conducted with women entrepreneurs in different administrative units of Tirana, aiming to improve women’s access to the business market, to empower them and reduce the insecurities they experience in developing their businesses.

The latest training was held on 20.07.2023 in Petrela, where women in business received knowledge on access to finance, budgeting, banking products, the value chain, and insurance products. The training also provided information and guidelines to help women make informed decisions and overcome obstacles to business development.
