Business Development Training with Women Entrepreneurs from Administrative Unit no. 4, Tirana

09.06.2023 Gender Alliance for Development Center is implementing the project "Women’s Economic Empowerment through Gender-Sensitive Value Chain Interventions" aiming to address issues of gender equality and women’s economic empowerment in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change.

The project is supported by Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund of the Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Tirana.

The aim of the project is to improve women’s access to the business market and empower them as entrepreneurs, creating positive change and providing encouragement and inspiration for women with entrepreneurial talent, with the goal of economically empowering them and reducing the level of insecurity they experience.

The latest training was held on 09.06.2023, with the participation of women in business from administrative unit no. 4 and staff members of the unit. The training focused on access to finance, budgeting, banking products, the value chain, and insurance products.

This training session provided information and guidelines to help women make decisions and overcome obstacles to business development. In addition to trainings, the project also promotes the creation of an encouraging environment for discussion and cooperation, allowing women to share experiences, learn from one another, and develop innovative strategies in order to advance the development of their businesses.
