Clean Clothes Campaign visits Albania

In September 2021, the "Gender Alliance for Development" Center met with representatives of the Clean Clothes Campaign (CCC) in the premises of the GADC library.

During the meeting, we discussed about initiatives and plans for the support of textile industry employess in Albania, as well as joint activities with the CCC. GADC gave information on the work it has done with women textile workers to defend their rights, as well as the impact that COVID-19 has had on their lives.

A roundtable is planned to be held regarding the living wage in Albania among GADC, Clean Clothes Campaign and Olof Palme International Center - Albania Programme.
