Regional Network Meeting – Enhancing Women’s Access to Employment

On July 9, "Gender Alliance for Development" Center and Democracy for Development (D4D) held the fourth and last meeting of the Regional Committee for the "Enhancing Women's Access to Employment" project, funded by the Norwegian Embassy in Pristina.

Representatives of the Labor Inspectorate, the National Agency for Employment and Skills, the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Albania met with representatives from the Ombudsman, the GAP Institute and UNDP in Kosovo, with whom they shared experiences and recommendations for women’s economic empowerment in Albania and Kosovo.

The findings and recommendations of the Policy Paper "Enhancing Women's Access to Employment" were shared by the expert. Participants from both countries addressed the main issues and emphasized the importance of regional cooperation.
