Capacity building in Sukth and Katund i Ri on the recovery of families affected by the earthquake of November 26, 2019

Gender Alliance for Development Center has organized two trainings with the staff of the local self-government units Sukth and Katund i Ri to discuss the management of the post-earthquake situation in the recovery of families affected by the earthquake of November 26, 2019 in these units.

The purpose of these trainings was to discuss civil emergencies and natural disasters in our country, existing legislation and CMD issued. It was important to identify problems and contradictions, procedures implemented for those affected by the earthquake and how the reconstruction grant for beneficiary families in these units is being monitored. GADC will continue to monitor institutions that deal directly with reconstruction fund programs.

These trainings are organized in the framework of the project "Capacity building in the administrative units of Sukth and Katund i Ri in the Municipality of Durrës on the actions taken for the recovery of families affected by the earthquake of November 26, 2019". The project is supported by the AWEN-Albanian Women Empowerment Network and funded by the Embassy of Sweden in Tirana.
