Meeting with women in Katund I Ri, Durres

Gender Alliance for Development has continued with meetings of women in need and at the same time affected by the earthquake of November 26, 2019 in the administrative units of Sukth and Katund i Ri. The purpose of these meetings is to build a database to follow the socio-economic needs of women in the units of Sukth and Katund i Ri. During the meetings, the post-earthquake situation and the problems encountered in families and their residential areas were discussed. Such meetings will continue to be organized by GADC to highlight the difficulties faced by women and children coming from different life’s situation in these units.

These meetings are organized in the framework of the project "Capacity building in the administrative units of Sukth and Katund i Ri in the Municipality of Durrës on the actions taken for the recovery of families affected by the earthquake of November 26, 2019".

The project is supported by the Women's Empowerment Network in Albania AWEN and funded by the Swedish Embassy in Albania.
